Our Founder

Michael “Mike” Burright (February 5, 1947 – September 27, 2023), a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away at the age of 76 in Oregon City, Oregon. To those who knew him during the Christmas season, he was simply Santa.

Mike’s playful personality, zest for life, and kind heart brightened every room he entered. His legacy lives on through the Christmas Family Adoption Foundation, which he founded in 2002. The foundation has touched the lives of thousands of families in need throughout the greater Portland, Salem, and Vancouver areas, providing gifts and essentials that make the holiday season a time of joy and celebration.
